A commercial version of AutoCAD software also exists for construction and architectural purposes. This product is called AutoCAD Civil 3D and runs on Windows, Macintosh, iOS, Android, and Linux. It was released in December 2009 and supports rendering, project management, and construction. It was named the Best Mobile App of 2010 by Apple and The People’s Choice for 2012 by Reader’s Digest.

AutoCAD is designed to help architects, engineers, contractors, and builders produce accurate, detailed drawings quickly and easily. The software uses a feature-rich graphics engine and a design environment and task-oriented interface to help users add, edit, and combine objects in 2D and 3D formats.

AutoCAD was originally developed by Stephen L. Morse, then a programmer at the Texas Instruments TI-99/4A, a computer model that was released in 1982 and was used as a desktop computer with an internal graphics terminal. The primary user interface in AutoCAD was the “graphical user interface”, or GUI, a method of graphical user interface design that places all controls on the screen and hides the underlying program code. This allows the user to concentrate on the task of drawing, without having to study the program code.

Autodesk purchased the rights to AutoCAD from Morse in 1993 and in 2005 released AutoCAD R12. Subsequent upgrades have added features, such as advanced drawing and modeling, that enable designers and engineers to rapidly and easily create professional-quality drawings. AutoCAD is available on desktop computers running Windows, Macintosh, or Linux; personal computers running iOS, Android, or Google Chrome OS; smartphones running Android or iOS; and tablet computers running iOS, Android, or Chrome OS.

The AutoCAD Technical Center has published a number of official documentation, articles, and videos about AutoCAD.

AutoCAD history

TICAD-1 – The AutoCAD user interface (UI) was first designed as part of the TICAD-1 program to be used on the TI-99/4A. Released in 1982, the TICAD-1 program consisted of an Intel 8080 microprocessor, an off-the-shelf 80 character video card, and a bundle of software tools including the primary Auto

Windows Media Player, a software application distributed by Microsoft for playing, recording, and managing audio, video, and other digital media files, requires AutoCAD to use its media export function.

While objects created in AutoCAD are not limited to CAD applications, the program interfaces to object databases, and for this reason, it is often used for CAD database creation. The.NET Framework version 2.0 allowed for the programming of AutoCAD-like applications using Visual C#.

In 2004, Autodesk announced the acquisition of CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT. Following the acquisition, CorelDRAW became part of the Autodesk Architecture & Design group. Corel PHOTO-PAINT became a part of the Autodesk Entertainment group.

Notable features

AutoCAD is one of the world’s most used programs for drafting. It includes many features used in other drafting programs, such as straight and curved line, the ability to trace paths, to draw “design intent” borders, and to place hatch and texture effects on paths or parts of drawings.

VectorWorks (2018) and Architect (2013) are also popular 3D drafting programs, but Autodesk distinguishes itself from competing products, saying that “VectorWorks and Architect are desktop-based applications with traditional user interfaces and tools for drawing and editing components of a project. AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD Web are web-based applications, as are all add-ons; they include additional software tools that can be accessed from your computer, without you needing a separate software program.”

Other drafting programs in Autodesk’s product line include:

AutoCAD Architecture
AutoCAD Electrical
AutoCAD Mechanical
AutoCAD Map3D
AutoCAD Map3D LT
AutoCAD Civil 3D
AutoCAD Environmental Design
AutoCAD Geospatial
AutoCAD Manufacturing

System Requirements For AutoCAD:

In order for the game to run, you will need the following software and equipment:
Windows 7, 8, 10 (64-bit).
1 GHz Processor or faster.
1 GB hard drive space.
These are the minimum requirements, but it should work for most users. It may not be the fastest gaming experience out there, but it’s still a great game. Also, please note that our servers are not compatible with older systems.
If you are unsure about your system specifications, you can test your
