My ASP.Net project contains a custom control. This control contains one other custom control. I would like to modify/remove some attributes of my control from within my custom control. I have read through some of the other questions that have been posted regarding the removal/modification of some of the default ASP.Net Web Forms attributes. I am trying to figure out how to remove a specific attribute from my custom control. I am currently trying to do this by overriding the OnInit method on my custom control and just removing the attribute. Below is the code I have used to try and accomplish this. I am currently running into an error on the line of: “myTextBox.Attributes.Remove(“Heading”);” that says “Method System.Web.UI.WebControls.TextBox.Attributes.Remove(String) is not supported.”
