Germán Sánchez de Vargas (; also Germán Sánchez of Madrid; 1477–1541) was a Spanish cardinal and the first Archbishop of Mexico.
He was born in Burgos in 1477.
He was a monk at the Convent of San Pablo at Valladolid.
